  • Under threat of losing millions of dollars in federal funding, Columbia University has caved to demands from the Trump administration, leaving students and faculty fearing the loss of academic freedom. Adding to those fears, ICE has made multiple arrests of international students at several schools, as well as recent graduates, like Mahmoud Khalil.

    This week, Alex Wagner speaks with students and professors at Columbia to discuss the dangerous precedent being set, not just for college campuses as centers of debate and dissent, but for all free speech.

I'm really loving this podcast

I got hooked on the first one. I have a sense of her politics and more than often agree, but she interviews fairly and in a way that looks underneath the tribal rhetoric to some persons' life reality or, they can be on occasion, pretty much one dimension. I like to hear the reasoning without drama. the story flows. it makes sense. it leaves me thinking. I've listened to Alex Wagner many years now from a guest to her own show and like other talk show hosts on MSNBC, has grown into her art and is making it her own.
This one, was the best one yet. thanks.
