Steve committed nearly his entire adult life to the promotion of hounds. Steve worked at three registries where he developed programs that are still in place today. Randy has won multiple coonhound world championships, built and operated a successful business, been a highly successful trapper and fisherman. Anybody that knows Randy knows he is extremely driven in everything he does. Randy talks about the value he has found in hosting Steve over the years at his home in Pennsylvania.

Alexander the Great had landed a fleet of ships carrying his army on Persian soil with a mission to attack and destroy the Persian Empire. This mission was in retribution for Persian aggression and brutality against his people. After the landing, Alexander gave to command to burn the boats. By doing so he made it clear; there is no retreat. The only option was forward. If his army wanted to survive they had to be successful.
