    W3 M4D3 4 N3W 8357 Fr13ND! It's time to dig into the 2022 sci-fi horror M3GAN, spearheaded by James Wan! There's a lot of talent behind this meme of a movie, including stand-out child actors, unbelievable stunts, and a special effects department that blew us away. Jaime did the research for this one while Eric did the recap, and we had a blast watching this tiny robot's reign of terror.

  • Infinity Pool: Spoilers! They Get Off On It

    WE'RE BACK! It's our first episode of the year and the beginning of SEASON 4 OF HORRORSCOPE (!)  so we decided to kick things off with Brandon Cronenberg's latest sci-fi horror film, Infinity Pool. There's a lot going on here, but the good news is that Mia Goth had fun and so did we.

  • Nope, Bodies Bodies Bodies, Barbarian, Don't Worry Darling: We're Really Saying Something

    Dive into a  neo-Western science fiction horror, a black comedy horror, a good ol' fashioned horror film and a psychological thriller as we look at a very mixed bag of plots, directors, performances, and subject matter.

  • Scream (1996): Girl Loss Moment

    We're completing our summer slasher block by counting sheep and watching Wes Craven's 1984 American supernatural slasher film, A Nightmare On Elm Street! An inventive revitalization of the slasher genre, this movie has legendary special effects, questionable performance decisions, a stupid amount of blood, and one tiny girlboss trying to make it through the night.

    Content warnings: gore, blood, dream stuff, mention of child death, maggots, burns and fire trauma, domestic violence, bugs, eels, and hanging.

  • Friday the 13th: Girlboss on Girlboss Crime

    Let's dive into Crystal Lake and a classic slasher, Sean Cunningham's 1980 slasher Friday the 13th! This movie was surprising throughout and not for the reasons you might think. Eric tries to keep us on track while Jaime just fully loses it. 

    Content Warnings: referenced drowning and child death, stabbing, gore, sex, nudity, animal death, racism, and a spoiler for Scream in the second half.
