Where can we find true peace? Is it truly something that we can find within ourselves, and through our own efforts? Or would that path ultimately lead to a dead end? We are joined on this episode by Pastor Jonnathan Truong, a former Tibetan Buddhist with a dramatic testimony of how Jesus rescued him from hopelessness and suicide. We discuss the differences between the peace that Buddhism offers, and the peace that Jesus provides. Additionally, we discuss the recent “Walk for Peace” that mesmerized many people and how, though it seems positive and harmless on the surface, Buddhism can lead down a dangerous path.

From 2020 to 2023, the world was on lockdown during the COVID-19 global pandemic. It was during this time that the Lord provided the world with hope through the song titled, “The Blessing”. The lyrics of this song are straight from Scripture, specifically from Numbers 6:24-26. This prayer of blessing (sometimes referred to as the Priestly Blessing or the Aaronic Blessing) was given with the promise that “I will bless them”. In this episode, I reflect on the hope that God provided the world through this song at a time when it was very much needed, and it is still a blessing for us today.
