  • Ep 29: Homeopathy Without Borders: Refugee Camps, Sailing Adventures, and 24/7 Care with Mary Greensmith
    Jun 11 2025

    Send us a text

Mary is a dedicated homeopath and founder of Homeopathy 24-7, a global service providing online consultations 24 hours a day. In this episode, she shares how her interest in homeopathy began on a small farm in Scotland, where a ringworm outbreak among her cows led her to discover natural remedies through a book. That hands-on success sparked years of study and eventually a thriving practice, which she later took aboard while sailing around the world for seven years—consulting with clients via Zoom long before it became common. Mary talks about setting up a large international team to meet the growing demand for remote care, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also reflects on her time providing homeopathy to refugees in Greece, where basic care was often hard to access. Throughout the conversation, she highlights the importance of collaboration among practitioners and the practical support Homeopathy 24-7 offers to those building their own practices.

    Topics Covered:

    • Mary's Journey into Homeopathy
    • Building a Homeopathy Practice
    • Challenges and Innovations in Homeopathy
    • Introduction to Pediatric Homeopathy
    • Homeopathy for Syrian Refugees
    • The Birth of Homeopathy 24/7

    About my guest:

Mary Greensmith is a Licensed Classical Homeopath with a deep passion for natural healing and over a decade of experience supporting clients across the globe. Trained at The South West School of Homeopathic Medicine, Mary has continued her studies with world-renowned homeopaths including George Vithoulkas, Hilary Dorrian, and Colin Griffiths. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Homeopathy, focusing on research and data collection to help integrate homeopathy into mainstream healthcare.

Mary’s approach is grounded in the belief that health is deeply personal and that healing is most effective when it considers the whole person. Her practice is global, and she works with clients online from all walks of life. She is a proud member of Homeopathy International.

Beyond her clinical work, Mary is the founder of Homeopathy247, the world’s largest 24/7 online homeopathic team, providing both acute and full consultations to people worldwide. She is also passionate about education and has created accessible courses and the ‘Homeopathy at Home’ app to empower individuals and families to use homeopathy safely and effectively for everyday ailments.

Mary’s life reflects her values. From living off-grid in the Scottish Highlands to spending seven years aboard a boat traveling Europe, she embraces self-sufficiency and simplicity. Her volunteer work with refugees on the Greek island of Samos profoundly shaped her understanding of trauma and resilience.

Now based in rural Devon, England, Mary lives with her husband Paul and their dog Lilly, surrounded by rivers, forests, and meadows. From this peaceful valley, she continues her mission: to make homeopathy available, accessible, and understood—one remedy, one person, and one story at a time.
