Day 7: Holy Saturday – The Silence of God

Holy Saturday is the day between. Between the suffering of the cross and the joy of the resurrection. Between confusion and clarity. Between death and life. In Matthew 27:62–66, we see fear gripping both Jesus’ enemies and his friends—one group afraid that the story isn’t over, the other afraid that it is. Today’s devotional invites us to sit in the stillness and silence, to recognize the fear, and to remember: even when we cannot see it, God is still at work. Resurrection is coming.
