Greg Flammang of Irish Sports Daily recaps Notre Dame's 56-30 victory over Purdue that saw the Irish run game go wild, with Jadarian Price and Jeremiyah Love accounting for 231 rushing yards and five touchdowns on the ground and CJ Carr throwing touchdowns of 66 and 48 yards. The defense was however no where near good enough in the first half, allowing 23 points and 6.7 yards per play. They will need to find answers next week against a high powered Arkansas offense.

The Irish jumped out to a big three score lead before Purdue forced a fumble down 28-13 and inside the Notre Dame red zone. A lightning delay forced the teams off the field, but when play returned, Notre Dame's running backs took over. Jadarian Price scored on a kickoff return, Jeremiyah Love scored from 46 yards out, and the Irish poured on 56 points to win the game by 26.
