High School Track Meet Ends In Deadly Stabbing

On Wednesday, April 2nd, a high school track meet ended in murder, after 17-year-old Austin Metcalf was fatally stabbed. Karmelo Anthony, a 17-year-old student athlete from Frisco Centennial High School, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in his death. Anthony allegedly confessed to the crime, saying he was "protecting" himself, and asked if the events that took place could be considered "self-defense."
