Though he was found guilty of the murder he would later be found not guilty. His case was so big it was the inspiration behind the show and movie The Fugitive.

Tammy Lynn Leppert was a successful model and burgeoning actress having acted in the classic 1980's movies Spring Break and Scarface before disappearing without a trace. It is said that she was acting very strange days before her disappearance and feared for her life.
