  • Recap: RHOC S19 E12-E13, Defense is the Best Offense, and Not So Fun-Fetti
    Oct 7 2025

A double recap of Orange County covering the meandering and volatile confrontations between Tamra and Gretchen following yet another stale beef-a-thon. This time, it's centered around the aged allegation that Tamra had an affair when cutting a track with a former boy-band member. In episode twelve, amidst self defense classes and shooting practice, Tamra wins a target competition but loses her cool yelling at Gretchen. In episode thirteen, Tamra melts down after being told that Heather doesn't trust her. In both situations, Emily is the eager messenger and agitator, and Tamra has a outburst and scampers off screen.

  • Recap: RHOSLC S6E3, Dismissed
    Oct 3 2025

After watching Heather pick bland paint colors, listening to Lisa namedrop, and meeting Bronwyn's mom, the episode culminates in a showdown between Lisa and the ladies over her legal troubles. At a lunch with decor consisting of posterboards on easels, the plan to discuss those legal issues quickly devolves into chaos with accusations, confrontations, explosive reactions, and hilarity. Another classic episode from a stellar franchise.

The second half of a two-part Broligarchy Roast concludes with reviewing an anti-anti-fascist Executive Order, a recently deleted study on the reality of domestic terrorism, and fun with HB1 Visas. Additionally, a look at FBI firings, investigations, lawsuits, and the children's book author at its helm. As the DOJ works to address Presidential beefs, we dig into Comey's indictment and the raid of a former advisor before closing with a dive into the new Department of War treehouse.

  • Roasting the Broligarchy: Cancel Culture, FCC Fealty, and Morality Lessons from the Immoral
    Sep 28 2025

Part one of a two part Broligarchy Roast that covers multiple deep dive topics. As the bros continue to flood the zone, we work to understand the significance and impact of each action AND stay focused on the Epstein files. This includes how station owners, networks, and the FCC operate and engage to present news and entertainment to the American people, and what it means to have freedom of speech. Additionally, what it means to have the right to protest, why students of history were alarmed after hearing recent inflammatory comments, and how current statements and events reflect classic signs of aspirational authoritarianism.

  • Recap: RHOSLC S6E2, Law & Out of Order
    Sep 25 2025

The last hours of a winter RV trip provide more culinary adventures and a misunderstanding between Bronwyn and Heather than undoes the progress they made sharing a kayak. Back in Salt Lake City, we learn that socialites exist there, watch a tense lunch between Heather and Bronwyn, check in with Mary and her son Robert Jr., see Whitney do sick snowboard tricks, and hear more shocking details about the allegations against Lisa. The return of Lisa Barlow, with Heather eager to fill her in about Bronwyn's descriptions of Lisa's legal woes, primes the episode for an epic confrontation. BONUS: Defining gout

  • Recap: RHOC S19E11, Loose Lips Sink Trips
    Sep 21 2025

This episode focuses on the outcome of two overnight trips, a sleepover at Heather's house for Emily and Gretchen, and a jaunt to Temecula with Tamra for Gina, Shannon, and Jen. Heather spares no expense for her sleepover but their good time gets derailed by a video call with Gretchen's kept man who brings up a rumor about alleged infidelity from Tamra's past. In Temecula, Tamra's hyperfocus on Shannon, and repeated digs disguised as concern, sours any possibility of them "whooping it up" like old times. By the end of the episode, Gretchen again finds herself doing panicked cleanup as a result of damaging allegations, and Shannon and Tamra are still at odds. BONUS: a side quest into luxury mattresses

  • Recap: RHOSLC S6E1, Hot Dogs and Hearsay
    Sep 18 2025

The Utah ladies kick off their 6th season with an RV camping trip, sans Lisa Barlow and condiments. Armed with residual grudges, scary stories, and camcorders, they put on waders trudge through fly fishing, and their issues. Without Lisa present, the group begins to critique her absence, and her conflicts, with Heather and Brittany eagerly tagging in to come to her defense. As a result, insults from Brittany about Whitney's business leads to an admission about the complete failure of her company, and its financial and emotional toll. Bronwyn brings up Lisa's multiple lawsuits (most regarding her company and/or allegations of unpaid loans) while also apologizing for last season's jewelry confusion when she made it seem like she purchased a $4million dollar necklace on camera...but didn't. Mary and Angie serve as trip hosts as well as MVP's for the amount of comedic relief they provide.

  • Movie & Show Review: BBC's North & South Miniseries (2004) and Dracula, A Love Tale (2025)
    Sep 16 2025

A recap and review of the sleeper hit BBC Miniseries North & South, discussed without full details to allow for elements of surprise when watching it yourself. Based on a book written by Elizabeth Gaskell in 1855, the miniseries follows the story of a young woman moving abruptly from a picturesque existence in the South of England to an industrial town in the North. Throughout, the 2005 film adaptation of Pride & Prejudice is mentioned to highlight how the two stories, and productions, share similarities. Then, how a new version of Dracula manages to present a fresh take by focusing on the intense connection between two star-crossed lovers. After a review of what sets this next vampire iteration apart from others before it, we delve into the history of it's director and my theory about why it wasn't originally distributed in America and won't be available in those theaters until next year.
