Hidden Alternative Season 1 Episode 9

After a full week of sitting in Christmas lines at the shops and stores, I ponder on this show some of the latest current news- The Moon eclipsed Mars, Yellowstone has more magma under it than previously thought and most importantly the Prisoner exchange of the century. The man they call the Merchant of Death was exchanged this past week for WMBA player Britney Griner. We dive into the background of Viktor Bout and ponder why we traded him of all prisoners.

I sat in a drive through line at McDonald's also reminiscing on one of my favorite books, The Feather Thief by Kirk Wallace Johnson. A book that tells the true story of Edwin Rist, virtuoso flautist, obsessive fly-tyer and the Royal Academy of Music's most famous thief. In this deep dive, we discuss the trials and tribulations of one man, Alfred Russel Wallace and his discoveries in the Amazon and Malay Archipeligo. 

Finally, we end up at the heart of the episode, or rather; the navel. How our belly buttons can tell our personality types and when we will die.
