  • 30: Theological Differences Don't Need To Ruin A Friendship
    Sep 30 2025
We made it to 30 episodes guys! Are you proud of us? Ha! This week, we are talking about theological differences between Christians, particularly between friends. As Christians, there are core beliefs that make up the foundation of our faith, like the resurrection of Jesus, Jesus atoning for our sins, the Trinity, God the all-powerful Creator and so on. However, how about the smaller beliefs that are rooted in tradition or in different denominations of the faith, like baptisms, church leadership, communion/sacraments, interpretation of Scripture and more? How do we address these differences whether in person or online, with grace and humility? How do we have healthy debates about theological topics without acting prideful or bitter? We explore what the Bible has to say about these matters and share our own raw experiences. As sinful humans, we will never 'know it all' and our hope is that listeners will ask God to search their hearts for any wayward thinking that has led to pride or bitterness. Let's be Christians who fight for unity regardless of some theological differences! Let's work together to have healthy discussions and wrestlings about our faith. We need to set the example as Christians to strive for unity, 'for our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world' (Ephesians 6:12). • 29: Simple Ways To Share The Gospel In All Seasons
    Sep 24 2025
Are we overcomplicating sharing the Gospel? Do we live too comfortably to share our testimonies to non-believers? How do we share the Gospel with confidence and conviction without shouting 'repent' on the street corner? In episode 29, we chat about how to simplify evangelism and find organic ways to share the Gospel in every season you find yourself in. Jesus calls us to 'make disciples of all nations' (Matthew 28:19), but what does that look like on a practical level? We encourage mothers, single women, women who work, women who stay at home, to make sharing the Gospel part of your every day life and how to do it in a way that's not cringey or complicated. • 28: "Let's Talk About Lust, Baby"
    Sep 16 2025
In episode 28, Bella and Jess chat about an unpopular topic among women; lust. Yes, we women struggle with lust too, whether we want to believe it or not. But for women, it can be much deeper than just a physical attraction to men. Jess and Bella talk about their own struggles with lust, what the Bible says about lust and how we can manage it so that it doesn't lead to sin. We as women need to speak more about these conversations because they are something we all struggle with at one point or another. It's important to bring sin to light so that it doesn't stay lurking in the dark and something to live in shame by. • 25: Should Christians Take Sabbath?
    Aug 26 2025

    Welcome to episode 25, friends!

In this week's episode, Jess and Bella chat about what Sabbath (or Shabbat in Hebrew) means and if Christians should partake in it?

We explore what the Bible says that the Sabbath is and how as New Testament Christians, what it means for us today.

We talk about our experiences taking Sabbath and how it has changed the way we live for the better.

Our hope that if you are not practising Sabbath as a Christian, that you would consider it (not in a legalistic way, but from a desire to receive it as a gift from God).
