    One of these debates that resurfaces with every cycle is that of net neutrality. This is the basic idea that internet service providers have to be neutral about the way they provide access to different areas of the Internet. The company you pay to provide you with internet shouldn’t restrict your access to websites based on their political alignment, for example. This is a principle on which most people agree, but the policies around it can be much more contentious.


    So what is going on with net neutrality now? And why does it matter? I sat down with Annie Chestnut Tutor, Policy Analyst in the Tech Policy Center here at the Heritage Foundation, to find out.
