Are you allowing margin in your life to pause and receive God’s instruction?
In this episode of Generations at the Table, Megann Marcellino discusses the Hebrew month of Shevat, a time of transformation, instruction, and preparation for entering the Promised Land. Deuteronomy 1:3-5 recounts how on the 1st of Shevat, Moses, before he ascended to heaven, gave the children of Israel their final instructions before they entered the Promised Land. Though Moses had struggled with a stammering tongue, he was the one chosen and equipped through God’s Spirit to bear the weight of giving the final instruction before the promise. This month highlights how God’s power is perfected in our weaknesses and how He lights up the path before us with His Word. At the start of this year, don’t just ask God for good ideas or big dreams, but seek His will, trusting He is with you every step you take.
Join Megann as she shares principles from the tribe of Asher, associated with this month, how to be in the world but not of it, like oil and water, and the importance of planting seeds of obedience, putting into action God’s instruction for the future.
