Daniel (@ChaoticDad) joins Josh (@Joshed_Raw) on Gods of Tomorrow to share his story of being brought up as a missionary kid in Guatemala. He tells of his childhood experiences in sharing the word of God, getting baptized, and helping convert others to Christianity. Daniel then explores how his beliefs were challenged when he entered adulthood and became a father himself, and the painful realization that the theology of the Christian God did not align with the reality of parenthood. Josh and Daniel discuss the path of healing, the importance of communities in the human experience, and the necessity for having open conversations around theological doctrines and alternative beliefs to Christian theology for those who cannot accept the belief.
