After an early access screening of Heart Eyes, the new killer romcom/ slasher flick from comedic genius Josh Ruben, I was head over heels in love with it and new I had to share it out to the world. Kyra Elise Gardner grew up with a father that was… a little different. As a child, her house was filled with dead bodies, severed limbs and cursed dolls, but she’s not the daughter of a serial killer. In fact, it’s all fake! Kyra grew up with a special effects master as a father and his many years working int he horror business has not only made her a life long fan, but a filmmaker herself. With a love of practical effects, Kyra started her film career with a short about a talking fish person, and has expanded from there. Her first feature documentary Living With Chucky is touring festivals as we speak, and she has nearly half a million people following her journey on tiktok.
