    NASCAR officials penalized driver Sammy Smith on Tuesday for his on-track actions at the end of Saturday’s Xfinity Series race at Martinsville Speedway. NASCAR competition officials docked Smith 50 points in Xfinity Series drivers’ standings and also fined him $25,000.
