Today’s meditation is on the 5 simple words: Love Your Neighbour As Yourself. It is my hope & my prayer that this year we all set the intention to live by this words.

Well, my friends, we’ve got some pretty exciting things planned for this calendar year & this season! Throughout 2026, we will be releasing a number of new series on Patreon & will have at least a few meditations from each series here on the free pod. And I truly can’t express how excited I am about these upcoming series’. The first series will be of Bible Meditations for Mental Health. Over the years the meditations here on Harkening Deer have oscillated a bit between more emphasis on spiritual benefits & that of the mental health benefits of meditation.. Well, at long last Harkening Deer will be releasing a series that combines the two! That series is currently projected to be released mid-winter. Next up will be a series of Morning Scripture Affirmations. Last year I released a series of Morning Affirmations that were designed to be universally accessible. It’s been on my heart to essentially reboot the series with Scripture at the core of our Affirmations. The Affirmations themselves, after all, were always rooted in Scripture, even if I didn’t broadcast that in the original series. Look for that series to premiere sometime in the Spring. And in the summer, my hope is to release an entire series around today’s meditation & the 5 simple words: Love Your Neighbour As Yourself.
