  • #177 Make Your Sobriety Unconditional (feat. My Mom)
    Apr 7 2026

One thing that can be an obstacle in making our sobriety stick (and that so many people may not even realize they're doing) is placing conditions on our sobriety. Believing you can only stay sober in certain circumstances, or that you aren't capable of staying sober when life gets hard. But as long as we place conditions on our sobriety, we render ourselves powerless.

The truth is, life IS going to happen sometimes - and unless we make our sobriety unconditional, then we never fully have power over it. When we decide we aren't drinking no matter what, and we are capable of getting through absolutely anything sober, THAT is when we step into our power. My mom and I chat in depth about this mindset shift in this episode.

  • #176 Listening to our Inner Voice & Letting Go of Others' Opinions (feat. My Mom)
    Mar 31 2026

This week, my mom and I chat all about letting go of other people's opinions of our sobriety! I share a recent encounter I had with a drinker that would've definitely bothered me in early sobriety, but that I was instead able to laugh off. We also talk about how to identify our own inner voice rather than the voice keeping us stuck. And we answer a listener question: how to let go of the fear of judgment not about being sober, but about being "such a mess" that we needed to get sober in the first place? We cover SO much in this conversation and it's one of my favourite ones we've had in a while!
