How do we deal with imbalanced situations in open play when a partner is getting targeted?
There's a couple of things you can do as you put yourself there and protect a player.
And as always, thanks for joining us on Pickleball Therapy - the podcast dedicated to your pickleball improvement. If you have not yet subscribed to the podcast ... wait what?? you haven't subscribed? ... you know what to do.
Number one, avoid targeting yourself when you're in these situations and then make it harder for your opponents to target your partner.
You want to make sure that both players get to play. Be supportive of your partner and hit shots to places that makes it harder for your partner to be targeted.
