Gwen Stefani has been everywhere this week and frankly it’s hard to keep up. According to TODAY, she lit up Rockefeller Center at the Christmas tree lighting in early December, performing her new holiday single Shake the Snow Globe, which is featured in the Prime Video movie Oh What Fun. She also promoted the deluxe edition of her 2017 Christmas album You Make It Feel Like Christmas, which now includes that new track. On TODAY, she talked about bouncing between Oklahoma and L.A. with Blake Shelton, gushed about her friendship with Michelle Pfeiffer from their old No Doubt days, and dropped a major bombshell: No Doubt is reuniting for a residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas in 2026. She confirmed they’re actively brainstorming the show, describing it as somewhere between a concert and a film, with a lot of custom filming and content. She said it’s not about new music yet, just about making the live experience something modern and special.

Over on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Gwen doubled down on the nostalgia angle for the Sphere shows, telling Fallon she wants fans to feel like they’re back in time, reliving those classic No Doubt moments. Billboard and Y101 note that the initial 12 Sphere dates in May sold out fast, so six more June shows were added, making this one of the most anticipated rock reunions of 2026.

But it hasn’t all been cheer. In early December, Gwen promoted the prayer app Hallow and its Advent challenge on Instagram, urging fans to pray daily and download the app. The Blast and Reality Tea report that this sparked backlash because Hallow is tied to anti-abortion figures like JD Vance and Peter Thiel and features prayers by anti-abortion activist Lila Rose. Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, married to musician G Flip, publicly called her out in the comments with a pointed “Gwen DON’T SPEAK,” referencing the No Doubt hit, and fans largely backed her. Critics called the promotion a betrayal, especially to LGBTQ+ fans, and noted the app’s subscription cost. This isn’t the first time Gwen’s faced heat for backing Hallow; she got similar criticism in December 2024 for the same app’s Advent campaign.
