They immerse themselves in the festive surroundings and get involved with wreath making and finding out all about the 60 year history of the farm from cattle to Christmas trees! It wouldn't be October without the presence of a massive bright orange pumpkin or two and we've got them in abundance in this episode. Coxy's pumpkins are doing very well but there's an anxious wait for the competition to see if he has indeed grown the heaviest on the Adhurst Estate Allotment. Ann takes a trip to the Rogate Pumpkin Patch to chat to Slade Farm's Pete Davey about pumpkin growing on a large scale. We hear from fellow allotmenteers about their highs and lows of growing this year and we find out what you can be doing in the garden this month.
