    08:30 - To me, understanding is not the same as changing your mind or backing down from your argument, which I think is the most important thing. It's first just getting to that first step of, okay, I understand what you're saying, and now actually that makes me smarter. So I win.

    12:10 - Curiosity opens the door to understanding. And again, as long as you separate understanding and agreement, those can be two different things that can actually coexist really beautifully that leads to influence.

Unless they really are crazy. They do have a decent reason.
