Obscure History Episode 2: Ching Shih was a former Chinese pleasure boat woman who became the most powerful pirate of all time. In her heyday she had over 80,000 pirates under her command with over 1,800 ships. In this episode, I speak about her rise to glory along the Chinese coast because this woman was a true badass and deserves more respect.
