    Mar 15 2026

Good morning. We began our study last week, exploring the subject of "Hope in Crises". Last week, we looked at the definition for Hope and how the Bible identifies the believers' hope as being "In Christ", not just in this world, but in and for the future. Today, we will explore "The Crisis in Creation" and the hope made available through Jesus Christ.

  • Episode 10-2026: Hope in The Times of Crises
    Mar 8 2026

Good morning. Our study this month covers the idea of "Hope in the Times of Crises". In this study, we will consider a definition and a biblical position on Hope. We will also consider a definition of crisis; an exploration of crisis in creation, and a biblical response; an exploration of crisis in general and a believer's response. We will end the series with an exploration of crisis within and a recovery plan.

Today, we speak about hope as used in the New Testament, meaning a favourable and confident expectation.

  • Episode 09-2026: The Believers’ Work – Our Acts of Service
    Mar 1 2026

Maranatha. We have come to the last sermon in our series on The Wonderful Anticipation: The Posture of the Church towards the Second Coming of Christ Jesus".The topics we have covered are: (1) The Believers' Waiting, (2) The Believers' Watch, and (3) The Believers' Walk. We therefore close with The Believers' Work until the Son of Man puts in His appearance.

Matthew 24 and 25 address Jesus' teaching on His return. He speaks about the unpredictability of His return in Matthew 24:43, but affirms the certainty in Matthew 24:42. Angels make the same point in Acts 1:11. Each passage referenced has two things in common: the assured declaration of Jesus' return and the believers' response to the assurance of this return.

  • Episode 07-2026: The Believers’ Watch – Our Steadfastness Until The Lord Returns
    Feb 15 2026

Good morning again, everyone, and Maranatha. Today, we continue the series themed "Joyful Anticipation, The Posture of the Church towards the Second Coming of Christ Jesus". I intend to address this as follows: (1) The Believers' Waiting - A Look on Our Blessed Hope, (2) The Believers' Walk - Our Sanctification, (3) The Believers' Work - Our Acts of Service, and (4) The Believers' Watch - Our Steadfastness Until the Lord Returns. Today, let us consider The Believer's Watch.

Whenever we start our discussions on the Lord's return, some will always say they have been hearing this for a very long time, indicating the long delay in His coming. Mathew's Gospel deals with the delay of the parousia in two ways: the first is a warning to be watchful, and the second is a warning about preparedness.

    Feb 8 2026

It is a travesty to know that what the Lord has intended to serve as the believers' hope and comfort has become their despair and distress. Far too many believers do not read or study the teachings of the Second Advent of our Lord Jesus Christ. His Second Coming was always intended to bring joy and hope for Christians of all ages.

Good morning, listeners. Today, we conclude this short series exploring key themes in the Epistle of First John. In this episode, we examine the danger posed by love of the world.
