Albert Speer was a German architect who served as Minister of Armaments and War Production in Nazi Germany during most of World War II. After the war, Speer was among the 24 "major war criminals" charged by the International Military Tribunal for Nazi atrocities. Speer had carefully constructed an image of himself as an apolitical technocrat who deeply regretted having failed to discover the monstrous crimes of the Third Reich. He was found guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity, principally for the use of slave labor, narrowly avoiding a death sentence. Having served his full term, Speer was released in 1966.

Shortly before midnight on 10 May 1941, Hess landed at Floors Farm, by Waterfoot, south of Glasgow, where he was discovered still struggling with his parachute by local ploughman David McLean. Identifying himself as "Hauptmann Alfred Horn", Hess said he had an important message for the Duke of Hamilton. McLean helped Hess to his nearby cottage and contacted the local Home Guard unit.

Chris Hansen was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 13, 1959,[2] and grew up in West Bloomfield Township and Birmingham, Michigan. In an interview with City Pulse, Hansen said that he first wanted to be a journalist when he was 14 years old, watching and following the police and FBI investigation of the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa.[9] He attended Brother Rice High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.[10] Hansen graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunication in 1981.[11][9]
