Let’s read Mark 1:1-2 and study these first 6 verses of the Gospel of Mark which start off with two O.T. quotes. The first quote is from Malachi chapter 3 verse 1 and the other is from Isaiah 40 verse 3.
God preserves His Word thru the ages for Mark to write them down and for you and me to read them. The Lord will have a His messenger and His message!
Dr. Mitchell emphasizes that God is always on time. Our savior came to the earth at the right time. Jesus will also come to receive His people to Himself at the right time.
1 Timothy 6:14-15 says the Lord Jesus Christ will appear in His own time to show who is the blessed and only potentate, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
