1. What has God shown me lately that I’ve seen—but not done?

Ask yourself: “Where am I avoiding obedience because it’s uncomfortable, inconvenient, or just not easy?”


2. Is there clutter in my life I need to clear so I can hear God?

Ask yourself: “What’s taking up spiritual space in me that the Word is supposed to occupy?”


3. Would someone see my faith by the way I talk, love, and live this week?

Ask yourself: “Is my faith visible on Monday, or just vocal on Sunday

Follow-up Questions:

1. What trial are you walking through right now—and what is it producing in you? Is it bitterness? Exhaustion? Or is it building a deeper trust in Jesus?

2. Where do you need wisdom right now? James says ask. God isn’t stingy. He gives generously. Maybe you’ve been waiting on a fix—what if God’s offering clarity instead?

3. Are you trusting God’s character even when you can’t trace His hand? Verse 17 reminds us: God doesn’t change like shifting shadows. He’s still the Giver of good things—even when life feels anything but good.
