Golden Eagle Weekly - Episode 26

This week we start things off by looking into the postseason picture for the Golden Eagles esports teams as they qualified for the playoffs in all six game titles they played. Head Coach Cindy Benites talks about how much work went into making the final fields and how far she feels each title can go.

We have had several athletes commit to the next level, and one of those is from the men's soccer team. Daniel Barajas is heading to UCCS in Colorado Springs and both he and Head Coach Fernando Perez talk with us about not only the signing, but also about the spring season and from Coach Perez, we look to find out more about how he uses the spring to build up they team for the fall. We also look at how he utilizes the indoor vs the outdoor practices that are a common thing in the spring in Wyoming.

Finally, we wrap it up talking with Head Athletic Trainer Sarah Charon to celebrate Athletic Trainer Appreciation Month which was in March. We pick her brain on the best parts of being the AT at LCCC and what got her into the job that she is so passionate about.
