HouseGod's Heart for FamilyJon FredricksToday's Scripture: Genesis 2:18-25 NIV__________Psalms 68:6 NIVGod sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. Genesis 1:26-27 NIVThen God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Genesis 2:18-25 NIVThe LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals. But for Adam no suitable helper was found. So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame. 1 John 4:7 NIVDear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Genesis 2:25 NIVAdam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame. Genesis 4:8 NIVNow Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let’s go out to the field.” While they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him. 1 John 4:7 NIVDear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Psalms 37:5 NIVCommit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this 3) GET A TEAM TO HELPEcclesiastes 4:9-10 NIVTwo are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. 4) PRAYJohn 15:5 NIV“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. James 4:2 NIVYou desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. Luke 18:1 NIVThen Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.
