Wherein we take a deep look at how millennia of belief in God as Sovereign has led to colonialism, climate crisis, and a disconnected relationship of dominion over the land and all its exploitable resources instead of a kinship with the earth and the cosmos more generally. We discuss how this influences our beliefs about the afterlife and compare what we were told happens after we die to alternatives depicted in story and film, weaving in the first law of thermodynamics.
