God Still Guides

What is guiding your life? We don't drift off course because we lack information, but because we're being led by the wrong things—ambition, reputation, fear, or comfort instead of God. In Acts 16, we see that the abundant life Jesus offers comes from being actively guided by the Holy Spirit—learning to hear His voice through Scripture, discerning His direction in community, and obeying Him quickly, even when He says no. Ultimately, the call is to surrender our will to God's, trusting that the Father who said "no" to the Son at the cross now guides us in love toward life.
