  • Standing Alone | When Faith Feels Isolating
    Jan 14 2026
In this episode we look at various examples in Scripture of people who stood firm in their faith, even though they felt alone. What we will learn is that often when we feel that loneliness, there are others we don’t know about. But in that isolation, I can learn a lot about myself and my level of commitment to God. Will I succumb to pity parties and self-loathing in these dark moments? Or will I learn to trust God more and lean on him for strength?

Through the story, Jesus challenges us to realize how much love and concern someone must have if they want to save a soul. But even deeper, we learn how God values a soul straying into darkness. What is my attitude toward those that are not saved? And how do I develop a heart of compassion that matches the Lords?
