Give Up the Mask

Pastor DJ Uithoven- We all wear masks—at church, at work, even with God. But Lent isn’t a season for pretending. It’s a time to bring our real selves into the light. Jesus warns against performative faith: doing the right things for the wrong reasons, putting on a show while hiding our struggles. When we give up the need to appear perfect, we find deeper connection with God and others. Because the one who sees us fully, loves us fully.
