  • God Is Working - Even When You Don’t See It | Exodus 1–2 | Moses Series
    Apr 16 2026

What if the areas in your life that feel the most uncertain… are actually where God is working the most?

In this episode of Girl, Read Your Bible, we walk through Exodus 1 & 2 and uncover powerful truths about strength, fear, courage, and faith.

The Egyptians feared the Israelites because they recognized their strength—but the Israelites didn’t. And honestly? We do the same thing. We forget who we are. We stay quiet. We don’t call on God like we could.

    We also look at:

    • The bold courage of the midwives who chose to fear God over man
    • A mother’s faith-filled decision to release her child into God’s hands
    • How one “heart spark” idea changed everything
    • And how God worked out a better outcome than she could have imagined

Because when faith meets action… God moves.

You are not forgotten. You are not powerless. God is already working in your story.

    In this episode:

    • Why fear makes us forget our strength
    • What it looks like to choose faith over fear
    • How to recognize a “God idea” (heart spark)
    • Trusting God when you can’t control the outcome

  • Deborah & Jael’s Story | God Uses Women Who Don’t Fit In
    Apr 9 2026

Two women. Two completely different roles. One powerful story of obedience.

In this episode of Girl Read Your Bible, we step into Judges 4 and meet Deborah—a wise and discerning leader—and Jael—a bold and unexpected hero.

Neither woman fit the mold. Neither waited for permission. Both were used by God in powerful ways.

    If you’ve ever wondered:

    • “Am I enough?”
    • “Do I have what it takes?”
    • “Where do I even fit?”

This episode will remind you: 👉 You don’t have to become someone else to be used by God.

You just have to say yes.

    Key Takeaways

You don’t have to fit a mold to be used by God.

    Deborah led. Jael acted.

    Both obeyed.

Wisdom looks like Deborah. Courage looks like Jael.

And both live inside of you.

What if the way God wants to use you… doesn’t look like anyone else?

  • The Humanity of Jesus: The Power to Stay
    Apr 2 2026

The Humanity of Jesus: The Power to Stay

Jesus understands you more than you think.

In this episode, we explore the humanity of Jesus—not just that He suffered, but that He felt. He experienced joy, grief, betrayal, and even the heartbreak of a prayer that was answered “no.”

    But the most powerful moment?

    The cross.

Jesus had the authority to leave. He could have stopped the suffering. He could have called down angels. He could have chosen comfort.

    But He didn’t.

    He stayed.

Not because He was powerless—but because He was focused. Focused on you. Focused on redemption. Focused on the bigger picture.

And that same Spirit that gave Him the strength to stay… is living in you.

    📖 Scriptures Referenced (NLT)

    • John 11:35
    • Matthew 26:38
    • Luke 22:48
    • Luke 22:41-42

    • Galatians 5:22-23
    • Hebrews 12:2
    • John 14:16-17
    • Romans 8:11

    💡 Key Takeaways

    • Jesus experienced the full range of human emotion
    • He understands your pain, grief, and disappointment
    • Even Jesus prayed a prayer that was answered “no”
    • The cross was not just sacrifice—it was self-control
    • Jesus had the power to leave, but chose to stay
    • You are not powerless—the Spirit of God lives in you

    💬 Reflection Question

Where is God calling you to stay… when everything in you wants to leave?

    🌿 3 POWERFUL AFFIRMATIONS

“I am not alone in my struggle—Jesus understands me, and His Spirit strengthens me.”

“I have self-control through the Holy Spirit, even when it’s hard to stay.”

“I trust God’s bigger picture, even when I don’t understand my current situation.”

    🙏 PRAYER

    Father God,

Thank You for sending Jesus—not just to save me, but to show me what it looks like to trust You fully.

Thank You that He understands my emotions, my struggles, and even the prayers I’ve prayed that haven’t been answered the way I hoped.

Lord, help me to remember that I am not doing this on my own. Your Spirit lives in me. Strengthen me in the places where I feel weak. Give me the self-control to stay when it would be easier to walk away.

Help me trust Your plan, even when it doesn’t make sense. Help me fix my eyes on the bigger picture—just like Jesus did.

And remind me today… that staying is not weakness—it’s obedience.

    In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    Mar 19 2026

What does real faith look like when life falls apart?

In this episode of Girl Ready Your Bible, we’re diving into the story of Mary Magdalene—one of the most devoted followers of Jesus, and one of the most misunderstood.

She wasn’t the loudest. She wasn’t the most recognized. But she was the one who stayed.

Mary stayed at the cross when others ran. She stayed in the silence after Jesus died. She showed up in the dark… not expecting a miracle, but simply because she loved Him.

And because she stayed—she became the first to witness the resurrection.

If you’ve ever felt like your faith is shaky, quiet, or just barely holding on… this episode will remind you:

You don’t have to have it all together to stay close to Jesus.

In This Episode, We Talk About:

    • The truth about Mary Magdalene (and what Scripture actually says)
    • What it means to stay with Jesus in painful and confusing seasons
    • Why faithfulness in the dark matters more than we realize
    • How Jesus meets us personally—even in our grief
    • What it looks like to carry your own “I have seen the Lord” story

Key Takeaways: ✨ Faith that stays matters more than faith that shines ✨ You don’t have to understand everything to stay close to Jesus ✨ Jesus knows your name—and meets you right where you are

    Scripture References: Luke 8:2–3 Matthew 27:55–56 Matthew 27:61 Matthew 28:1–10 Mark 15:40 Mark 15:47 Mark 16:9 Luke 24:10 John 19:25 John 20:1–18

  • Esther | Don't Miss Your Moment
    Mar 3 2026

What if the place you’re in right now isn’t random?

This week on Girl Read Your Bible, we step into the powerful story of Esther — a young orphan girl who becomes queen, not by accident, but by divine orchestration.

Right now, during the Feast of Purim, Jewish families around the world remember how God preserved His people through one woman’s courage. And here we are, thousands of years later, still learning from her faith.

    Esther’s story reminds us:

    • You don’t have to strive for influence — favor follows character.
    • God’s hand is working even when His name isn’t mentioned.
    • There are moments in life that require bold obedience.
    • You can miss a God opportunity if you refuse to move.

    We talk about:

    • Esther’s grace and faithful courage
    • Mordecai’s unshakable faith (“relief and deliverance will arise…”)
    • The power of fasting and prayer before stepping into hard things
    • And the weight and beauty of Esther 4:14 — “for such a time as this”

Esther didn’t wallow in being an orphan. She didn’t shrink when she became queen. She didn’t panic when the pressure came.

She prayed. She fasted. She acted.

    And history changed.

Maybe you are standing in a moment that matters more than you realize.

    📖 Scripture of the Week

Esther 4:14 (NLT) “If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place… Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?”

    ✨ 3 Key Takeaways

    1️⃣ Favor Follows Faithfulness

Esther didn’t chase influence — she cultivated character. Grace, humility, obedience, and wisdom positioned her for promotion.

2️⃣ God Is Working Even When You Don’t See Him

The book of Esther never directly mentions God — yet His hand is everywhere. Silence does not mean absence.

3️⃣ Timing Matters — Obedience Is Urgent

Mordecai believed deliverance would come. But Esther still had a choice.

There are moments in life when hesitation costs opportunity. Obedience often requires courage before clarity.

🌿 3 Affirmations (Perfect for Social or a Download Card)

💛 I am positioned by God on purpose.

💛 I will not shrink back when courage is required.

💛 I trust that God’s hand is guiding my story.

    🙏 Prayer

    Father,

Thank You for the reminder that I am not here by accident. Just like Esther, You have positioned me intentionally in this generation.

Give me courage when the moment feels heavy. Give me wisdom before I act. Give me faith to believe You are working — even when I cannot see it.

Help me not to miss divine opportunities because of fear. Teach me to pray first, fast when needed, and move when You call.

If this is my “such a time as this” moment, make me brave enough to step forward.

    In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  • How Jesus Cleanses, Restores, and Brings You to Life | Daughter, Your Faith Has Made You Well
    Feb 26 2026

There are moments when you feel like the woman in Mark 5.

    Unclean. Unworthy. Unseen.

She had suffered for twelve years. Twelve years of isolation. Twelve years of trying everything and finding no relief. According to the law, she was considered unclean, which meant separation—from people, from community, from normal life.

And yet, she did something bold.

    She reached for Jesus.

    Quietly. Desperately. Faithfully.

She believed that even touching His garment would be enough.

    And it was.

Jesus didn’t rebuke her. He didn’t shame her. He didn’t ignore her.

    He called her Daughter.

In that moment, everything changed. She wasn’t just healed physically. She was restored completely.

..............At the very same time, another daughter was waiting.

Jairus’ daughter. Only twelve years old. Her situation seemed worse. She wasn’t just suffering. She was dying.

And then came the news every parent fears: She was gone.

But Jesus said something powerful: “Do not be afraid; only believe.”

And He raised her to life.

This is the beauty of Jesus.

He meets you in your uncleanness and makes you whole.

He meets you in your lifelessness and brings you back to life.

Under the old covenant, uncleanness separated people from God. But Jesus fulfilled the law and made a new way. Through Him, we are not just cleaned—we are resurrected into new life.

You may feel like the bleeding woman today—ashamed, weary, and desperate.

Or you may feel like Jairus’ daughter—lifeless, numb, and without hope.

But Jesus responds to faith in both places.

    He still restores.

    He still resurrects.

And He still calls you Daughter.

    THREE MAIN TAKEAWAYS

    1. Faith doesn’t require perfection—only reaching for Jesus

She was unclean. She wasn’t supposed to be there.

    But faith reaches anyway.

    Jesus honors faith, not perfection.

    2. Jesus stops for the individual

He was on His way to save a dying girl.

But He stopped for the suffering woman.

You are never an inconvenience to Jesus.

    3. Jesus doesn’t just cleanse you—He brings you to life

He made the unclean woman whole.

He raised the dead girl to life.

This is the gospel: Not just improvement. Transformation.
