This time we have Giorgio Zucca, Associate Director of Sports Performance at Island University, Texas.
His journey in the States began in early 2022 when he was at Louisville University as Intern Athletic Performance Coach with Olympic Sports. Then he served as the assistant strength coach for men's and women's basketball.
This year he moved to Corpus Christi to work with Women's Basketball, Track & Field and Women's Beach Volleyball. He's assisting Men's Basketball as well.
He obtained a Bachelor and a Master's Degree in Sport Science at the University of Milan.
He is currently a PhD Candidate at UCAM Murcia, working on a thesis on isometric-dynamic strength tests in team sports.
In this talk you'll find out what's his thought process when he works with his teams, both from the methodology and human side.
