Gifts of the Holy Spirit - Motivational Gifts

Everyone wants to know what their purpose is. There are a plethora of questionnaires and quizzes available to help people hone in on their inner talents and gifts, thus guiding them to how they can find fulfillment in contributing to the greater good. However, like most of all the big questions in life, the answer is found in the God's Word. At salvation, The Lord has given each of us spiritual gifts through the indwelling Holy Spirit that are used to serve distinct, specific purposes within the Body of Christ, all of which function together as a whole. It is important that we all discover what our spiritual gift(s) is/are so that we can in the way we were created, minister to others, and find personal fulfillment, all of which glorifies God.

Spiritual gifts are found in various passages of scripture as lists, most of which are not identical, but have some overlap. These lists are found in Romans, chapter 12, 1 Corinthians 12-14, and Ephesians 4. These lists have been categorized according to their corresponding Greek translation for better understanding.
