As we continue through the seven churches we come to the church in Sardis. This local church needs to get back on track. Jesus informs them that they “have a name that they are alive, but are in fact dead.” That is not a good report card for a local church. It seems one of their problems was they were living in past glory. Too many churches and individual Christians live this way. Join me as we examine this and what corrections need to be made as we continue our studies through Revelation.
