    it's a Beautiful Friday in August, what better way to spend it than paddling and drinking coffee with Beautiful people. we chat to Simon who tries out canoeing in Frisby lakes whilst his son Paul enjoys the paddleboard ! Simon Also braves the board later too and joins me for a chat to encourage people on their mature years to try out paddles sports and keep fit ! the Get down paddles up ! format has changed , due to the Spotify for podcasters platform moving from edited spoken podcasts to a video , sit-down studio format , which greatly changes how we tell many of our stories and investigate peices . we are rolling with the punches and hopefully continue to document inspirational stories, fun moments and our own development as paddlers !

    Join us in this World record Breaking episode , as we join the Wild Women of Leicester outdoor pursuit centre in creating the world's longest Stand up paddle board snake , or in this case a Dragon! As the Wild Women created the record attempt to help raise money for Soaring Dragons , Dragon boat club , who lost their boat the Major in Storm Henk . With the wider community and press involved this was going to be a day to remember!
