General Hospital viewers are witnessing a growing animosity between Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Giovanni "Gio" Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza). This hostility, however, appears to be a reiteration of a plot General Hospital often employs, where characters with clandestine familial ties unknowingly develop a dislike for each other.
