Wait, it's not March! What is going on? Well my friends - what is going on is the first ever Marchy McBonus episode as today your incredibly handsome and modest host went to see "Back to the Future: The Musical" in Boston.

And while he was planning on going with Mrs. Geek Mentality - she was not feeling well so I tagged in my friend and Marchy McFly veterans Eric to come with me. And he got me an awesome gift!

My only request was that he had to record an episode of Marchy McFly with me in the car. And we did just that. And then I lost all of that audio and most of everything I recorded with him

Happy Superman Premiere day, Super Friends! We've hit the final episode of Silver Screen Superman (for now) as we have reached the main event. The reason I jumpstarted this project again.

Superman is back. Back on the big screen in a brand new movie - which my wife and I went to go see today.

All I can say is, and forgive me if this is too corny - but thank you James Gunn. Thank you for bringing me a version of Superman that shows him in a way that I see him.

That's all I'll say here - but in the episode I say plenty - SPOILER WARNINGS - Do not listen unless you've seen the movie or you're just insane and don't plan to or don't care about spoilers.

Happy Superman Eve, nerds! I certainly didn't save the best for last with today's entry of Silver Screen Superman (who knows, maybe that's tomorrow?) - but I sure as hell saved the longest.

Once again, I am back talking about a movie for the fourth time. Okay, so there are two different versions of this movie - and I talk about each one twice - but still, that's a lot of Justice League. And a lot of Zack Snyder.

I thank Henry Cavill for his time in the cape - but I'm ready to move on. I'm ready for the future.

I'm ready for tomorrow.

We are one step closer to Friday. One step closer to the new Superman movie. And today, we are also one step further in my Silver Screen Superman project, as I watch - again - and podcast about - again - Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

What's crazy is today is actually my fourth episode about this movie. I did one before seeing it, one after seeing it, and one for my Big Screen Batman project.

Once again, I decided to watch the Ultimate Edition of this movie. It adds about 30 minutes, and I truly believe makes it a better movie. If I ever watch this movie again, it will always be with this longer version.

The same thing goes for the next movie - but I'll tackle that one tomorrow!

Superman week continues as today I reboot Silver Screen Superman again, just like Warner Bros. did when they brought in a new director in Zack Snyder and a new Superman in Henry Cavill.

I saw this movie for the first time shortly after it was released - on a Monday afternoon with people from my office. I mentioned in this episode that I recorded my thoughts for an early version of Geek Mentality - and here is that original episode (my Man of Steel discussion starts about 5 minute 30 seconds.)

Silver Screen Superman Returns! Happy Superman Week fellow nerds! I thought to myself, self - it's now or never to get "Silver Screen Superman" back on track.

So I chose now.

I mean technically, I could have done it anytime after now, but not before now - I just can't do it then. Because I'm in "now" now. What happened to then? I missed it. When?

Just now.

Anyway, I finally - after many years, rewatched the 2006 Superman Returns and get ready for more episodes this week because Geek Mentality is back! Superman is back! And Silver Screen Superman is back too!

And so we come to another close to another year of another movie month. But not before I watched another movie and did another podcast. I did not plan on using "another" so much, but I couldn't think of ano...of a different word.

Anywho, today I watched the 2025 horror-drama Sinners that further cemented Ryan Coogler as one of the best directors today and Michael B. Jordan as a superstar.

Movie Month is gone for 2025 - but fear not fellow movie nerds. It will return in a short 336 days. Until then - thank you to everyone who listened and followed along.

How did it feel!? To watch this movie? The answer my friend is - it felt friggin' great. Once again I am blown away by a Timothée Chalamet performance where he's singing. Hell, singing or playing in the sand, he's been pretty great in everything I've ever seen him in.

So happy I decided to watch this as the penultimate movie for 2025. One day more!!!
