H.E.A.L. Is a podcast developed by Changed by Fire, to assist in the Healing, Empowering, Accepting, and Living change processes encountered in a burn and trauma injury. The vision of this podcast is to support burn survivors, family members, community partners, and all impacted- changed - by fire. The hosts of this podcast have been involved for multiple years in the burn community: Julie’s mother lost her life to a burn injury, and Lori has worked for years as a burn community advocate and social worker in trauma settings. Through H.E.A.L., our aim is to share further about the change process of a severe injury, the avenues of healing to support internal and external needs, and to provide a community of knowledge, connection, and understanding.. This podcast will be a resource to help burn and trauma survivors reclaim safety in the recovery process, find moments of satisfaction in the journey, and lean into connection possible in being and feeling seen and heard.
