According to former senior border patrol officer here in arizona, #jennbudd - now a migrant rights activist who I will appoint as my deputy ! It's about 190,000 'encounters’ a month at the border with Mexico, which is elevated from previous levels of about 130,000. But we also have three times more border patrol agents than we used to in the 90s says Budd! So they're not overwhelmed but they do treat new immigrants to this country “like scum”, according to other human rights workers at the border.
