GND#36 John Garden-Oilman Unloads On Calgary City Hall

John Garden is a lifelong Oil Patcher having drilled wells all over Western Canada, and all over the world. He has run several of his own companies along the way. Now he finds himself entering new territory as he vies for City Council of Ward 2 in Calgary, Alberta. We had a great yap covering his time spent in the field and then getting down to brass tax. John intends to repeal Blanket Rezoning, and we discuss its affect on residents specifically in Arbour Lake, Calgary, as well as my own area in Ward 6 (aspen, springbank hill) John is also concerned about the safety of Calgarians with crime on the rise, and as it pertains to fire safety. He also is extremely concerned about the affordability and housing crisis. Naturally, we blast Jyoti Gondek for her declaration of the Climate Emergency, and wondering where the hell all that 88bn dollar budget is going to??? John is an astute business man, a rough looking ex oilman, with an even keel temperament about him. John is also a numbers guy, and is trying to make sense of what the hell is going on with our tax dollars.
