GBH Early Edition Friday May 28th, 2021

For the final time…good Friday morning from Joe Mathieu and the GBH Morning Edition team. Yes it’s true, after four years hosting Morning Edition on GBH Radio and hanging out with a group of crazy early risers for “The Best Ten Minutes in Radio”, Joe Mathieu is moving on in his broadcasting career and wrapping things up at GBH after today. We remember all the good times and wish Joe well as he moves on, and recognize the synergy of it happening as Covid-19 restrictions end this weekend in Massachusetts. Our audience at 4:50AM really began to grow with the insomnia that this pandemic brought, so closing out this show as restrictions end just seems fitting.
