  • S3 E2 Tracy Tranchitella, ND – Hormone Replacement Therapy and Removal of Black Box Warning
    Mar 27 2026

For decades, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had maintained a black box warning for hormone replacement therapy regarding estrogen. This often-prevented women from receiving appropriate estrogen hormone replacement therapy (HRT) either because of a history breast cancer or other health concern. This long-standing policy dated back decades to the Women’s Health Initiative study which failed to account for various individual factors such as type of estrogen, dose, and individual sensitivity. In this episode, Dr. Woeller has back on to the podcast Tracy Tranchitella, ND to discuss this very important change from the FDA and what it means for all women currently on HRT or seeking guidance for desired HRT treatment.

  • S3 E1 Jon Kaiser, MD Long-Covid, Long-Vax, ME/CFS and Recovery from Chronic Illness
    Feb 10 2026

Dr. Jon Kaiser began his medical career in 1987 at the height of the AIDS pandemic. As a primary care provider to hundreds of HIV/AIDS patients, he became an early pioneer of an integrative treatment approach--one that combined the best of natural and conventional medical therapies.

Over the past four decades, Dr. Kaiser has expanded this work to focus on complex chronic conditions, including fibromyalgia, myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), gastrointestinal disorders, and neuroinflammatory illnesses. His clinical approach emphasizes underlying mechanisms of disease rather than symptom suppression alone.

An expert in mitochondrial biology, Dr. Kaiser has published multiple research papers examining the role of mitochondrial dysfunction in chronic disease. He serves on the clinical faculty of the University of California School of Medicine in San Francisco and is the author of two books on the integrative treatment of HIV/AIDS.

His forthcoming book, Full Spectrum Healing: How to Build Health and Recover from Chronic Illness, integrates decades of clinical experience with current research to provide patients and practitioners with a practical framework for treating complex chronic conditions, including Long Covid, ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, and autoimmune disease. The book is scheduled for publication by Johns Hopkins University Press in early 2027.

  • S2 E18 Nicole Johnson, MBA, MT, (ASCP) - Understanding Laboratory Technology, Compliance, and Regulations (Part 1)
    Nov 29 2025

All laboratories performing analysis and diagnostics use a variety of technology to measure various compounds in blood and urine. Acronyms like GC-MS, LC-MS, and ELISA are popular methods for analysis used in the laboratory industry. In addition, all laboratories operating within the United States (US) are required to comply with specific rules over what’s necessary to have printed on their laboratory report. Every reputable laboratory has 3rd party oversight and is required to meet specific compliance items. A laboratory not following these requirements should be viewed with great suspicion by every health professional and the public as well. This part 1 of a 2-part series on laboratory technology, compliance, and regulations is focused on laboratory oversight. Nicole Johnson is an expert in this field and provides detailed information about how labs are regulated and what type of information is necessary to be listed on lab test reports.
