From winning the special election to losing the primary election, what's next for Martell Covington

Over in the 24th district Martell Covington won the special election to fulfill the remaining term vacated by St. Rep Ed Gainey, who is now the 1st Black Mayor of the city of Pittsburgh. Unfortunately the juxtaposition of two elections held within 42 days of each other, he did not win the vote of the people in the primary election. He spoke with us about the work he's doing in Harrisburg as a result of winning the special election April 5, 2022.
