Have you ever wondered what the experience of endometriosis like?

Maybe felt curious about whether your own symptoms might actually be something more than common menstrual cramps?

While endo is characterized by sometimes debilitating pain -- which is a common reason treatment is sought, the amount of endometriosis tissue present in the body does NOT correspond to the amount of pain felt.

It's less about the endometrial tissue being outside of the uterus, and more about the subjective experience of the person experiencing it.

For today's guest, Mary Lauren Fraser, her endo journey likely began throughout her twenties, but she didn't realize anything was abnormal until she had debilitating pain that did not go away, which seems to have been catalyzed by an inflammatory response in her body post-Covid infection and booster shot.

It changed everything for her.

Listen to her whole story and a lot of details on the embodied experience and research she's gathered throughout her journey in this week's episode.
