We welcome former Miami Marlins mental skills coach Marius Aleksa to the pod! Marius details his journey from college swimming to the military and finally to Major League Baseball (1:05), talks about his experience working with Green Berets (7:36), the Marlins' younger players' hunger to learn and get better (15:46), how he approaches all the different personalities in a team (18:45), what he learned as a 7th grade teacher in Teach For America (30:57), learning Lithuanian and his family ties to that language (43:45) and one of the career highlights of Marius' career, which happens to involve Troy (46:26).
