In this episode, we read Luke chapters 17 and 18, where Jesus teaches about faith, gratitude, persistence, and humility. He calls His followers to live with forgiveness and unwavering faith, showing that even small faith can have great impact.

We see this lived out as Jesus heals ten lepers, yet only one returns to give thanks — highlighting the importance of gratitude. Jesus also teaches through parables about persistent prayer and humble dependence on God, contrasting the attitudes of pride and sincerity.

As the chapters continue, we witness powerful moments such as the blessing of children and the encounter with the rich ruler, emphasizing the need for childlike faith and complete trust in God. Luke 17–18 reminds us that faith is not just belief, but a lifestyle of humility, gratitude, persistence, and surrender.

In this episode, we read Luke chapters 14 through 16, where Jesus teaches about humility, commitment, and the true cost of following Him. He challenges pride and self-centered living, encouraging His followers to choose humility and to value what God values rather than seeking status or recognition.

Through powerful parables — including the great banquet, the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son — Jesus reveals God’s heart for the lost and His joy in restoration. He also teaches about stewardship and the proper use of worldly resources, reminding us that faithfulness in small things reflects the condition of our hearts.

Luke 14–16 calls us to examine our priorities, live with humility, and embrace the grace of God, knowing that He actively seeks, restores, and rejoices over those who turn back to Him.
